He goes every year in December and misses the holiday and his daughters birthday, which hurts her feelings. This year she turns 18, and I would love for him to stay home and share this birthday with her, it would go far in healing hurts that have been aching for years.

Something on my wish list other than a Wii would be a bread maker, I know Im totally boring. But I love to bake and won’t have as much time to when my new little guy gets here, so a sweet bread maker would help a bunch.

I would like sooo many things (greedy, huh?! hahhaa), but my number 1 Christmas wish is a new pair of shoes. They arel Mephistos walking shoes… they were suggested to me by my neurologist. If this shoes don’t help me with my “foot drop” due to my MS, I will have be fitted for an AFO….. this is something I really do not want to do!

I have lots of non-tangible things to wish for (unlimited maid service, professional organizer, good health, Christian Bale and a bottle of hot fudge, etc.) so I’ll comment with something tangible. This year for Christmas I am really focussed on my 2 year old. I personally want a Wii. But aside from that I am trying to save up to get my son a Jeep! I wanted to get him one last year but I thought about it and I think he wouldve been way too little to drive it without hurting himself sooooo…. Instead of saving up to get a Wii Im saving to get his Jeep!!

I really want a video camera for the holidays. I received one from my cousins for the birth of my twins but my husband returned it to buy an air conditioner for their room. They’re already 10 months old and I so badly want to record their cute stages and antics but with the economy the way it is, I doubt I’ll get one.

My mom and my husband’s mom both had serious heart problems during the last year and it reminds me of how fleeting our time here is. I want a new Ipod for Christmas. My old one was a hand-me-down from my husband that became musically challenged toward the end of it’s life. The screen broke and would only show the top third of the data but it kept playing like a trooper. Finally about 4 months later the battery stopped taking a charge. We got our moneys worth out of it. To have it repaired would cost over $150 and it only had 4GB of memory so my DH is getting me a new one.
Next year I am going to save up and get a Kitchen Aid I can’t wait.
the #1 thing on my list is for the economy and housing market to get better! we are expecting #2 in a couple of months and have 2 mortgages to pay off – one is a condo that we are currently renting out – and with our current home in need of some major structural renovations, i am worried how we will be able to make ends meet once i go on maternity leave!!

This year I think it would be # 2- 2 scales, a food scale (for the kitchen )and a good weight scale (for me). Winning the WII would be great as the children want one,and its not in our budget.
This would for sure be the #1 gift on my husband’s list, but money is tight so it won’t happen unless we win it:) For me, I just want my kids to have a great Christmas more than anything…that really makes the holiday special for me.

I try to get my children and family items that tey want for Christmas, but I also want to teach them that it is just as important to give to those in need. This year my daughters class at school decided to donote to the local pantry that they have at there school instead of buy gifts for a class mate and teacher. My daughter was so happy when we brought in nine bags of food, paper products, soaps shampoo and toothpaste. It felt good to see her get so happy about helping others.

I love Christmas time, I love to go to the cabin, and be treated like a princess. It feels like Christmas up in the woods and my daughter loves to play in the snow, I can relax and drink my hot cocoa!!

But the only thing I truly want is to see my sons happy face when he gets that crazy overpriced Kota Dinosaur. The cost and the pointlessness of it is well worth the look we will see. My camera will be ready!

Actually I got what I wanted (ok needed) for my #1 gift which was a new roof. I just got it last month and is much better than all those leaks I was having. Now there is little money left for gifts but sharing time with family and friends will work for now…and of course winning a wii would be the icing on the cake!

The number one wish on my list this christmas is that my husband doesn’t get laid off after the first of the year. A new Wii system would at least take our minds off the economy for awhile!

For the holidays, honestly, I just want my son healthy. After my 3 year old spent most of his life in the hospital having surgeries, I just want to have him home and healthy. If I were to put something on my list, it would be a family vacation. We have never had one since I am mostly in the hospital with my son and he is finally healthy enough to do something fun but his medical expenses are too high so a vacation would be great. Honestly my Christmas wish is for a cure for MS just like any mom experiencing a life long illness but saecondly to give my children the best Christmas ever, but cannot and spemd my nights attempting to reach a win in some contest in hoeps I can give them something. I am now in school so I had to go part time at work. Christmas will be VERY thin this year so all I want is for my kids not to lose their childhood innocence and their belief in Santa.

Right now my sister’s entire family is sick, my dad is getting older and doesn’t fight the illnesses too well and my mom isn’t doing so well either! I just got back to work after 4 weeks off(major surgery). My daughter(knock on wood) seems to be the only one half way healthy!

The number one thing on my Christmas wish list is a good Deep Fryer. I am learning to cook and would love to have a nice fancy deep fryer for various recipes. My husband and I just purchased a new home and for the first time I am enjoying my kitchen. My husband is a big Chicago Bears fan and this fall i was at a festival and found him a really cool Bears solar light for outside itts made up of i think they r rail road ties. but it has 3 players on it im so excited i cant wait until Christmas morning hes gonna love it.

My 9 year old nephew Deivin had open heart surgery in March, We lost my Dad’s sister wendy and My Mom’s sisiter-n-law Jan in the same week in August from Ovarian cancer, My Grandpa Peterson passed away unexpectidly on November 7th and my Dad fell from a 8ft. latter at work and was injurred 1 week after that.

My Christmas wish for not only me but my whole family is to get our own house. My husband lost his job several months ago and we spent our last bit of savings moving from Indiana to North Carolina to live with my in-laws. I am extreamly thankful for them because we would have lost our apartment and not known where to go.

What I would like most and not just for Christmas would be for more money to be invested in finding treatments and programs for children living with Bipolar disorder. Living with this is hard both the family and the child trying to just be “a normal kid” knowing they never will be.

Well lets see…My number one wish for Christmas is for a better financial situation for my family. I’m graduating out of college this month and owe money in credit card debt. I made the mistake of using one credit card to pay for a spring break vacation (the other one I needed for necessities) I just want to be debt free and not have to worry about making payments month to month. I especially hope that things will turn around finacially for my family. My father (as well as other people) were victims of a scam investment. He is out of about $14,000. The gentleman behind the crime did get put in jail, but no one was able to get their money back. I just want to make sure that they don’t have to worry about money and can hopefully go on a vacation or someplace nice. We also live in a 30 year old house and it seems like each year some type of repair work need to be done. I love my family and I don’t want them to have to worry about anything finacially.
Well lets see…My number one wish for Christmas is for a better financial situation for my family. I’m graduating out of college this month and owe money in credit card debt. I made the mistake of using one credit card to pay for a spring break vacation (the other one I needed for necessities) I just want to be debt free and not have to worry about making payments month to month. I especially hope that things will turn around finacially for my family. My father (as well as other people) were victims of a scam investment. He is out of about $14,000. The gentleman behind the crime did get put in jail, but no one was able to get their money back. As silly as it may sounds, my biggest wish for a Christmas present would be a new batch of plush bath towels. Six of them would be nice, but I’d even take two new ones for my husband and myself. I guess showering and then drying off with a thread-bare towel, makes a new plush towel seems like a gift for a queen.

All I want really is for me and my family to be safe and happy. I want to be able to take this day to recognize everything that we are luck y to have and just let everyone we love one another. Even when we can’t afford gifts, or don’t have time to even make any, it is still nice to be together. Try to take the stress out of Christmas. That is my new personal goal. That and making my kids the happiest kids in the world. Good luck to all.

With the economy the way it is, hubby and I decided only one small thing for us and then some items for the kids. So I chose a bigger crockpot. I got mine when it was just the two of us, now we are four. Sometimes it’s a challenge to try and fit everything in.
